Antonette Wright, a Houston native, has been the heart of the City Cellars HTX kitchen since February 28, 2021, now serving as executive chef. Every menu item showcases her culinary vision, blending Southern-inspired flavors with global influences. Her love for cooking began at age 7 with her first meal of spaghetti and meatballs. By 18, she knew she was destined for a professional culinary career, with seafood as her specialty.

Antonette’s journey started at Houston Community College, where she pursued culinary arts alongside business studies. After graduating, she continued refining her skills in hotel and restaurant management at the University of Houston.

Since 2014, Antonette has gained experience in prestigious kitchens, from hotels and country clubs to an internship at Walt Disney World. As executive chef, her creativity shapes every dish, delivering a bold and inspired dining experience.
